The Woods is situated on the western bank of The Preserve’s recreational pond. It’s nestled in shady woodlands, a mixture of hardwoods and East Texas pine. The Woods features over 20 lots averaging 3/4 an acre, but lots up to 1 acre are also available.
The eastermost lots sit on a small rise, offering a beautiful view of the nearby ponds and surrounding areas, and The Preserve’s green space and hiking trails are a short walk away.
The Meadow rests on the eastern bank of the recreational pond. The Meadow is named after the gently rolling, grassy hill on which the neighborhood has been developed. Situated on a cul-de-sac, there are 22 lots ranging from 3/4 acre to 2 acres in size.
Some lots feature water frontage on the recreational pond–perfect for fishermen and families who love the water. The community green space adjoins the northernmost lots, just a short walk away from most homes.
Yes. The Preserve will have a homeowner’s association and covenants. However, we want to provide our members with flexibility when constructing their homes, so there will be an approval process for deviations from some covenant requirements.
Right now, houses should be constructed from stone, stucco, wood, and partiboard.
Garages should be at the back or side entrance.
All home designs will need to be approved before construction can begin.
For Waterfront Homes
All waterfront homes will need to have at least 2750 square feet of heated and cooled floor space.
For Other Homes
All other homes must have at least 2000 square feet of heated and cooled floor space.
Multi-story homes must abide by the above requirements. Additionally, the first floor of the home must contain at minimum 65% of the floor space stated in those requirements.
You’re free to choose your own builder. We want our members to love their homes, and the best way to do that is to pick a builder whose work you love.
